With the development of the construction of modern city, there is a tremendous change of the citywhere are living. Some crucial problems are emerging to the managers of the city. Compared to the processof city construction, there is no progress in city management including some cities are close to maturefirst-tier cities.The problems show as management information cannot be exchanged promptly, responsibilitybetween stuff and departments are not clear so no one would be responsible about some mistakes whichleads to passive management. Another problem is that they took the extensive style to manage whichfocuses on assault or sports management. There is also a lack of effective supervision and evaluationmechanism.This article explains how to design and implement the urban management business receiving systembase on ASP, NET and SharePoint2010technology and the concept of “City Grid”. The main content areas follows:1.The article elaborates the background and current research status. It discusses how to improve citymanagement through computer related technology. It analyzes current management construction quality ofmajor cities, learns from others and consummating the system design.2.explained by the development environment and the key technical analysis, combing clear thefeasibility and advantages of the system development.3.It conducts the analysis to the overall system demands and the design of the whole system. Itemploys the UML charts during the analyzing stage which clearly expresses the system demands. It is alsoconducive to the subsequent development by listing all the participants and examples. The settlement to theprocess of the project provides a base for each effective step.4.IT elaborates key function modules of the system and distinguishes city and district.5.The author considered the expanding and universal characteristics of the system at the beginning ofthe design, so the system adopted simulated city module. It can apply in different cities at once as long asthe related sheets are modified. There is also a unique advantage of logging in at a single point and makingconjunction with other systems which is due to the SharePoint2010technology.To sum up, this article basically completed the design and implementation of the system.
