The Research And Implementation Of TD-LTE UE Protocol Conformance Testing Platform Based On TTCN-3

TD-LTE UE Protocol Conformance Testing Platform based on TTCN-3is developed by National Project R&D team. The writer has been responsible for the research and implementation of the TTCN-3executable test suit, including realizing the TD-LTE PCT TTCN-3Adapter’s functions and debugging the TD-LTE UE PCT test cases.In Chapter Ⅰ, TD-LTE commercialization progress and UE PCT test’s significance for telecommunication chain are described briefly.In Chapter Ⅱ, wireless interface of TD-LTE and TTCN-3testing system are introduced. Then the hardware and software architecture of this testing platform are presented.In Chapter Ⅲ, functions of TD-LTE PCT TTCN-3Adapter including Codec and Decode, PICS parameters’ modification, TTCN-3LOG exportation program and Automatic Testing are analyzed in details.In Chapter Ⅳ which is the key chapter of this thesis, conformance testing module specified by3GPP36.523-3are introduced. The writer has debugged dozens of TD-LTE UE PCT test cases during the testing platform developing progress. In view of the limited extend of the thesis, only three different kinds of test cases are analyzed to summarize the debugging procedure and verify the testing platform’s reliability.In Chapter Ⅴ,summary of this thesis and anticipation for Protocol Conformance Testing’s development are presented.At present, TD-LTE PCT TTCN-3Adapter’s functions implemented by the writer have been put into use on this testing platform. TD-LTE UE PCT test cases debugged by the writer have passed GCF verification.
