| As the key of mobile communication, UE’s performance and quality can always decide whether the communication standard is good or not, and the performance of the terminal’s amplifier is also an important factor to measure the UE’s quality. Doing research of the LTE terminal with introducing high-efficiency power amplifiers, is helpful to guide the developments of the terminal products, and provide the stadards of test and verification for the maturity of the technology and the product development. In this paper, a deep research has been studied, including the performance of LTE terminal envelope tracking amplifier with different shaping methods and different duplex modes.First of all, four kinds of physical-circuits’structures to improve the efficiency of the terminal’s amplifier are studied and introduced. We emphatically analyze the principle and progress of the envelope tracking amplifier, which will provide the theoretical basis for simulation for the rest of the article.Secondly, by building the simulation platform of the envelope tracking amplifier, the key factor of the ET PA which is envelope shaping method is studied, and a new tracking method of the dual-mode envelope tracking is proposed.Finally, from the efficiency, power, signal quality point of view, simulation analysis are introduced for TD-LTE terminal with ET technology, and it is also compared with the FDD-LTE terminal’s performance. |
