With the information era coming, people have higher request to image resolution andframe rate. However, the traditional image acquisition technology only realized lowresolution, low frame rate of the image acquisition function, but also restricted by distanceand environmental factors, it is difficult to ensure the validity and reliability of long distancetransmission. In order to solve the problems, this paper focuses on the research which systemcan realize image acquisition and playback based on the industrial camera.This paper is based on the study of underwater background; it uses a CMOS industrialcamera of high-frame as the system front-end equipment to realize the image acquisition ofhigh resolution, high frame rate. And because the industrial camera has the advantages ofhigh reliability, it can well meet application requirement in the complex environment. At thesame time, in order to ensure the accuracy of image data, it uses Gigabit Ethernet technologywith the characteristics of high bandwidth, long distance and high reliability, to achieve theimage data and read back.In order to achieve the function of image acquisition and playback, this paper has doneresearch work as follows: in order to solve the problem which is the large amount of imagedata and store the slow speed, it used multiple Flash alternate with each other to storage andits unique "Two Plane" mode to read and write. In order to reduce the power consumption ofsystem on standby, it can automatically cut off the system voltage, through the design of thepower management circuit. According to the control principle of industrial camera, itdesigned the peripheral circuit of the controlling camera, used the VHDL language to writethe control program and set parameter, system to control the image acquisition. Finally, therelevant test and analysis was done on a platform of the system. The results show that: thesystem can realize image acquisition of high resolution and frame rate, and the PC softwarecan read the data and display the image.
