This thesis has researchedthe design and realization of the function of Approval Process for Business Trip in EmployeeSelf-service System, which in order to establish the standards of travel management, improveefficiency and convenience to help company management eventually.This thesis introduced the background, significance and the current status of the EmployeeSelf-service System, and combines the actual requirement that offer to develop an ApprovalProcess for Business Trip which would build in Employee Self-service System. Then the thesisdiscussed particular process of requirement analysis, overall design, detail design and testing,which makes the function gets spread used in the company. At last there gives a prospect of thefunction.In the requirement analysis section, the thesis discussed and recorded every detail about therequirement which include input/output, workflow process and any other minor functions.In the overall design part, it have finished the rough design for all requiredfunctions, include the authorities and functions both for system administrator and users; somedetail design for each node in the whole workflow; and the complete work process and databasestructure.The detail design chapter includes the constructive process of data sheet, web form andworkflow. In additional, this chapter describes the principle for some main functions that be usedduring using the approval process.In the test part, all nodes authorities and functions in the process have been tested, whatinclude if the process can be started correctly; if every field on the webpage can be fill out correctly; if the direction of the workflow can be correctly judged by page contents.
