| Due to the convenience, invariance and uniqueness of the fingerprint, making it almostbecomes a characteristic in the field of biological feature recognition which is most often usedto. This article said "fingerprint" is grain falls of positive skin covering the tip of the fingercaused by the uneven pattern. These grain falls has a certain regularity in different type ofgrain. The starting point, end point, combining point and bifurcation point are collectivelyreferred to as the minutiae of fingerprints.The resulting fingerprint recognition technology has become a priority in today’sbiometric authentication field, which relates to the technology of image processing, patternrecognition, digital signal processing, computer technology, microprocessor and so on, forfingerprint recognition research has great theoretical significance and realistic value.The study of this paper is aiming at the DSP/BIOS fingerprint image preprocessingtechniques and algorithms, the main contents are as follows: review, summary of thefingerprint identification technology and the preprocessing algorithm, the study of fingerprintpreprocessing algorithm of fingerprint enhancement, fingerprint image binarization,fingerprint thinning the two typical algorithms for the analysis of the advantage of thesealgorithms. And the insufficiency, for fingerprint image preprocessing algorithm provides atheoretical framework.Segmentation of fingerprint image preprocessing enhancement is needed to solve thecore problem, the foreground and background separation of fingerprint image, eliminating thenoise, improve the quality of the image, and lay the foundation for the matching minutiae,reliably and accurately extract the fingerprint fingerprint.In view of the Gabor filter in fingerprint image enhancement image application directionin dramatic changes in the central area and the triangle area ridge structure remains poor,proposed to use the directional information of enhanced algorithm is improved, and the test ofthe improved algorithm in the Matlab7.0environment, the test results show that, the algorithmcan guarantee to obtain better ridge structure.Study on the quick thinning algorithm and the improved OPTA thinning algorithm in theadvantages and disadvantages of the fingerprint image thinning processing, such as the OPTA is easy to produce burr phenomenon, and proposed an improvement which is using improve d algorithm of OPTA fingerprint thinning as the core idea,using Gabor filter as the fingerprint image processing system for fingerprint image enhancement algorithm, to modify reserved template or remove template, and to complete elaboration of fingerprint image. The result of the validation shows that the fingerprint image through a series of processing can get a completerefining indicator, then the line of skeleton is close to the center line, and the fingerprint ridgebecomes smooth and has no burrs, finally to achieve the requirement of the fingerprint recognition. |
