Valve is one of necessary controlling mechanism of liquid equipment.It is apply in many kinds of trade.With following the development trend of valve market,Consumer require level of valve production improving more and more.In order to adapt to the change of market and make development in the competition,manufacturing industry study the new design measure from product design in order to shorten the time of production.According to this situation,the paper brings forward a kind of 3D parameter design and CAE system.It carry out the automatization of the valve design.The system regards modeling software inventor as the developing platform,VB as the developing instrument,access as the database management software Ansys Workbench as check tool to achieve the development of valve 3D parametric design and CAE system.The followed works has been done in the paper:1) The character of the further development interface of the inventor,namely inventor API was analyzed and the environment,the course,methods and the tools of further development using API were discussed.2) The detailed study has been made out the interactive user interface technology,feature modeling technology,parametric design technology that are related to the secondary development of parts and assembly parts by means of Inventor API.The principle and key methods of these technologies are analyzed.A detailed development flow is established to realized the rapid design of valve.3) Through the link technology between Inventor and Ansys Workbench,confirms the incorporate settlement scheme from parametric design to finite element analysis.Modeling with Inventor and analyzing with Ansys Workbench replaces the conventional ways of design and analysis,making the results more credible.Meanwhile it offers a maneuverable process of design and a concrete realizable means for 3D model design and structure design based on Inventor and mechanics performance analysis.The system carry out the interactive between finite element analysis and parameter perfect.Based on these,the paper study the arrangement of strengthening affect on the valve body maximum principal stress,maximum effect and total transmutation and concluded that it just needed that arrange strengthening on the valve body mesocoele can improve the distributing stress of valve body.Paper can play a good role in guiding for the design department.The application of parametric design system shorten the design periods of products and reduce business costs. The application of parametric technology and CAE technology produce obviously economic benefits.
