Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of the science and technology, the global market is becoming more competitive, the replacement of the products is becoming accelerated, the users demand for more diversified products. The computer's parametric design is an inevitable way to meet the personalization and diversification of the products. With the development of the robot technology and the emergence of the knowledge economy, industrial robots play a very important role in the modern manufacturing. More and more attention is paid to the design and improvement of industrial robots. On the basis of the studies in parametric design home and abroad, with the platform of SolidWorks, a kind of three-dimensional modeling software, this paper studis the principles and methods of the parametric design. By using the COM interfaces and the API provided by COM, the principles and methods of the further development of SolidWorks is mastered. Through the using of Visual Basic 6.0 programming software and macro which is the own tool of SolidWorks, the API function of the SolidWorks is called to do the further development of SolidWorks. According to the characteristics of their design parameters, the parametric design of the injection robots is achieved, and by the assumebly of the robot's components , the parametric model of robot is established. In order to optimize structure design of the robot, the ANSYS, a kind of finite element numerical analysis software, is applied to the simulation analysis of the robot in this paper. Based on Finite Element Method (FEM), this paper applies software ANSYS to build the FEA model of the robot by importing the parametric model from SolidWorks into ANSYS and do the numerical simulation analysis of the robot. By simulating the typical working condition of the robot, through static analysis, the modal analysis, harmonic response analysis and transient dynamic analysis , this paper obtains the static, dynamic characteristics of the robot. By the finite element analysis and the structural topology optimization of the robot, this paper changes the structural of the robot, improves the mechanical low-level natural frequency, the characteristics of the vibration mode and the dynamic performance of the robot, reduces the vibration in the working course, improves the positioning accuracy of the robot. The results show that simulation analysis is relatively reliable for engineering analysis. Through the structural optimization design, the vibration characteristics of robot is improved. It provides a fast and reliable method of the optimization of robot design and the dynamic response of the control. Such an attempt is valuable both in academic research and in practical technology.
