The new type ultra-short wave radio station is a widespread powerful device whichapplied advanced technology. Because it’s operating mode is various and complex. Thetroops are unable to efficient training for lack of apparatus use in maintain andexamination. Maintain of the new type ultra-short wave radio station is too dependent onmanufacturer to lower combat power. The research content of this paper is able to solvethese problems.This paper aims to design and construction a training and assessment platform for anew type ultra-short wave radio station, which contains two subsystems, respectivelyhardware system and software system. From hardware system, the apparatus is the sameof the real radio station from appearance to operation panel controlling. In addition, theapparatus achieved basic function of a new type ultra-short wave radio station andassessment of simulate operation and network examination by setting up networkenvironment. Thereinto, simulation apparatus of radio station including digitalprocessing platform, controlling panel, network board, AC-DC module. Digitalprocessing platform using ARM(S3C2410) as core. Software consist of controlling clientand terminal. Software including human-computer interaction module, server-clientinteraction module, training and assessment module, Monitored Control module,networking controlling module. The collaborative operation of hardware and softwareachieved functions of training and assessment system. All the contriving performance ofthis training and assessment system is achieved.The training and assessment system has been tested and successfully used. Theresults are meet functional requirements and accord with the design demands.
