The Design And Realization Of Online Application System

The reform in educational system in recent years has promoted some changes inthe enrollment system in our country. Many new enrollment models have emergedand the enrollment models have become increasingly flexible and diverse. Theuniversity workload in the university independent enrollment related with registrationand information management have been relatively complicated and cumbersome dueto the fact that the traditional site applications have so many disadvantages ascomplicated formalities and numerous paper links, frequent occurrences of mistakes,short time span for application, geographical limitations for application processing,and heavy tasks of data processing. Therefore, it is a pressing task to enhance thework efficiency and lower the work intensity of enrollment.The thesis is based on the design and development of the online applicationmanagement system for the enrollment in the Fine ArtsSchool affiliated to the ChinaCentral Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.The author designed and realized thefunctions of the candidate information collection and management, online payment,score query and management, access management access rights management, on-siteconformation, system management etc. The system has adopted the B/S three-tieredmode which is relatively flexible and scalability. The presentation layer is useddirectly to access online application system through WEB browser; the business logiclayer has used the ASP.NET technology to provide interchange between presentationlayer and data access layer; the data access layer has taken SQL SERVER2012standardized version as the basic database. The thesis gives a brief introduction to andanalysis of the relevant technologies, system demands, system design and realizationand other aspects of the design respectively. The system demands include the generaldemand, business requirement, functional requirement and performance requirementetc. The system design covers the designs of system structure, database, and systemmodule functions. The system realization mainly introduces the realization of somefunction modules.Online application system enables the candidates to apply through the Internet ina more flexible way. The new approach has not only lessened the heavy workload andburden of the enrollment work, but also realized the transparency, standardization and procedural approach of enrollment. The data collection, easy operation, clearprocedures as well as timely and precise data processing have realized resourcesharing and facilitated more humanistic management. It also facilitates the effectivecommunication between the enrollment management departments and the candidatesthrough the informational and networked communication. The system features clearstructure, convenient management, precise information, high efficiency, easyexpansion and other advantages. The designed system has been applied in practice forthe enrollment work in the Fine ArtsSchool affiliated to the China Central Academy of FineArts and has won wide recognition and praise from the staff and gained fruitful socialreturns.
