| With the working environment of radar becomes more and more complex, the functions of radar signal processing become more and more diverse. Therefore, it is significant to implement a radar signal processing system which can be reconfigured to meeting different requirements. Compared with traditional radar signal processing equipments, FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) is smaller and faster. In addition, FPGA can be reconfigured dynamically in run-time to adopt any complex environment, which can improve the flexibility of out radar system.With a variety software tools provided by Xilinx Inc, a radar signal processing system which can be reconfigured dynamically is implemented in this paper. Firstly, this paper introduced the theories and implementation methods of some radar signal processing modules, such as Digital Down Converter, Pulse Compression, Moving Target Detector, Constant False Alarm Rate and so on. Secondly, this paper used System Generator for DSP to design these modules, and proved the correctness of these designs by simulation. Thirdly, this paper implemented these modules in ISE with the previous design methods. Finally, this paper applied dynamically reconfigurable technology to reconfigure some modules, and probed the signals inside FPGA by online logic analyser ChipScope. The results showed that the output signals were changed as hoped when the modules’ functions were changed, which proved the correctness of this reconfigurable radar signal processing system. |
