With the further development of the science and technology, the development cycle of digital image processing technology and maintainability and other high demands are put forward.Traditional way of implementation by software is hard to meet the requirements of real time, and the FPGA technology has become mature, which changes the ARM, DSP application practice in the field of digital image processing. FPGA, because of its high processing capacity, shorter development time and repeatedly programming, etc, plays a important role in the field of digital image processing.This paper presents a video denoising system based on FPGA design solution, and using Cyclone ⅣDE2-115 series FPGA chip as the processing core in the environment of Quartus II 12.0, which gets success in designing and implementing the plan. In the complitment of the designing of video acquisition system based on FPGA, proposed an improved adaptive median filter algorithm and the denoising algorithm is added to the video acquisition system, the final design has realized the real-time streaming video information denoising system based on FPGA.First of all, in the process of video acquisition configuration parts design, using the I2 C bus configuration decoding chip ADV7180; Using the video data decoding module to decrypt ADV7180 output data can ensure the video image data output correctly; In conjunction with the SDRAM controller and FIFO, video data cache control is completed through "table tennis" operation, which ensures the real-time datas transmission; In the end, under the VGA ingterface control the video data achieve the display on the LCD. Secondly, in part of algorithms, an improved adaptive median filter algorithm is put forward, in which introducing insert merge sort into 5×5 median filter can further reduce the data comparison, accelerating the speed of data processing; Adding the solution of mean filtering algorithm in the adaptive median filter can avoid the possibility of secondary noise flow into the image; Verified by experimental analysis, the paper puts forward the algorithm of denoising performance is more ideal, after processing the image quality is higher and more smooth. Finally, putting the algorithm referred above into the video acquisition system has the strong inhibition effect on the noise and able to complete the function of real-time video denoising processing. The successful realization in the video real-time denoising processing system can provides a certain reference in target detection under the complicated environment field.
