Design And Implementation Of Hand-Wrist Pedometer Based On BLE4.0 Of Android And ARM Platform

Health as a prerequisite for people of all daily work and life has no doubt, good health makes people’s work and life have a basic protection. As a new generation of portable pedometer motion detection device, it can be a good to detect individual daily movement and provide a good reference standard, to help people customize a reasonable exercise plan, urging people to achieve a reasonable exercise purposes. In recent years, the development of the pedometer remains a good development trend, the function is constantly perfected. This article given people focus on health, and the needs of motion detection and easy to carry and use, designed a hand-wrist pedometer based on BLE4.0 of Android and ARM platform.This article completed the design mainly following several parts:First, the hardware circuit design. Reference bracelet functions and models available in the market, design the corresponding Master Minimum system modules, sensor modules, power modules, indicator module and other circuit.Second, the software design. Software design is divided into two parts, Android application side and ARM Bluetooth side. (1) Android application side is mainly UI interface design, functions to achieve and data communication with a Bluetooth terminal. (2) ARM Bluetooth side is mainly achieve a pedometer algorithm,sensor-driven design and communications with the Android application side. Algorithm is the core of pedometer, and implementation of the algorithm is through collecting data from the sensor, filtering, setting dynamic threshold, and then peak detector.Third, the experimental results. In order to ensure the accuracy of the pedometer, we need to simulate for algorithm. In addition, Inviting different testers for pedometer test, and they detect the number of steps in the movement patterns of their habits. Test results show that the accuracy of the pedometer more than 96%, and meet the design requirements. Meanwhile we compared with XiaoMi bracelet and Ibody bracelets. The comparison result show that the comprehensiveness of hand-wrist pedometer design by this article is more better.
