Research On The Construction Of User’s Demands Oriented Mobile Library

With the rapid development of the mobile communication technology,the advance of digital library and the accumulation of practical experience,mobile phone has been slowly integrating service of the digital library, which the traditional library services were extended and expanded by mobile platform. Mobile library which is a new access to digital library, has been quietly online. The mobile library will become the main focus of the library construction, which will offer better user experiences, especially graduate which is the major user of the library provides mobile services anywhere, which is the topic of the paper to thinking and try to resolve.The basic of this paper is as follows: First investigation of the present situation of the practice of the three provinces in Northeast China mobile phone library to learn successful experience. Then, with a questionnaire that as the Liaoning University graduate students to investigate, then to make sure service object and resource coverage of Liaoning University mobile library. Finally, put forward the strategy of the early construction of application oriented mobile library,which graduate served as VIP.The paper has six chapters: the first chapter introduces the research background,situation of domestic and abroad and its significance; the second chapter mainly through the network investigation in three provinces of Northeast China Construction in university mobile library; the third chapter focused on investigation and analysis several point by questionnaire: what kind of mobile phone that graduate have taken, how the graduate will use library service, how to access mobile library, what kind of mobile library service mode will meet the need, as well the service level and the mobile library reference scenarios and so on; the fourth chapter through guarantee of the Liaoning University digital resources, the popularity of smart mobile phone, the user requirements for mobile library and the existing college mobile library construction experience, to feasibility analysis of mobile phone library construction of Liaoning University; the fifth chapter proposed the construction policy of Liaoning University mobile library,user first, more user research, digital resources integration, easily digital resources access, unique mobile library resources construction, mobile library reference service, cooperation and librarians quality promotion, more training and so on,and puts forward a design for Liaoning University mobile library; the sixth chapter gives the conclusion of this study, and summarizes the deficiencies of the study and further work.
