With the increasingly fierce social competition, it is an effective way that improve personnel operating performance in the case of less or not investment is to improve enterprise productivity, and enhance the competitiveness at home and abroad. The application of work study that is the most basic technology of industrial engineering, and computer aided technique to analyze and study the enterprise personnel operations and actions is an effective method to meet enterprise demands.The research of this paper is a combination of theory and practice. It selects the second turbocharger assembly line at H factory as its study object, uses the technology and theory of work study that such as activity analysis, motion analysis, work measurement, and combines with the virtual human of Jack software, to research, analysis, simulation and optimization the operating jobs, actions, environment at the assembly line and lay down the standard operation action and time, in order to adjust the operator job comfort and reduce work intensity, then improve the production efficiency of assembly line.In this research, firstly, analysis and research all assembly operations of the key 10 process in the assembly line by using activity analysis and motion analysis of work study, then find activities and actions that need improvement,such as stagnation,waiting and imbalance motions; secondly, aimed at these activities and actions that needed to be improved, come up with preliminary optimization scheme, then utilize Jack software to simulation, analysis and evaluation the operate environment and actions both before and after optimization; thirdly, based on comparison results of the operate environment and actions before and after optimization, field observation and communications with technical staff, verify the feasibility of the optimization scheme, and determine the final optimization scheme; finally, on the basis of the optimization scheme and technical and methods of work study system, such as the principles of motion economy, "ECRS" improvement principle, MOD method, unified optimize the existing assembly, and develop suitable measure for the assembly operations,and the measure will be the most reasonable, the most economic, the most effective standard activity and motion system and standard motion time system.This paper applies the virtual human of Jack software that is an software of computer aided technique to work study methods for analyzing and optimizing the assembly activities. It makes activity optimization time be shortened, as well as optimization cost be reduced. In addition, the research aims have been achieved one by one. After the series of study, worked out the standard activity and motion system and standard motion time system that is the most suitable for the assembly activities of H factory, and then made the assembly circle time be greatly shortened, daily output be doubled, the balance of production be improved. What’s more, the improvement of the operating platform of the operator led the activities’comfort to improve. Thus, the operating performance has been raised, the economic efficiency has been increased, the productivity efficiency has been improved, and then enhanced the H factory’s competitiveness in the turbocharger market.
