Broadband Access Network Plan And Deployment Of LongGang Telecom

LongGang Telecom started to construct the broadband access network and provide the broadband service from 2000. As the quantity of users increases rapidly, the experimental network which is hastily constructed becomes chaotic due to without a special plan, and fails to satisfy the requirement of further development and network maintenance. Therefore, how to determine a network development strategy and perform a proper broadband access network planning becomes an essential step of continuously developing the service.This paper includes five aspects of current situation reorganization, market investigation and study, technical contrast, network planning deployment and operation problem analysis. Through analyzing the existing turning on networks of LongGang Telecom, the test-run situation of broadband access technology and the developing situation of Internet service, we summarized the characteristics of network and service development. Through the market investigation and study, we obtained the demand data and concluded the service demand and the development forecast. Then, we analyzed the technical characteristics of currently available four kinds of turning on technologies with respect to three aspects of efficiency, reliability and economy, and proposed a technical selection scheme and an overall strategy of the broadband access network development. Finally, based on the obtained network current situation and demand forecast, we proposed an optimization plan of network construction according to the selected turning on technology and development strategy, and analyzed all kinds of difficulties the service aspect will meet in business and technology during operation and provided a solution direction for the service aspect.After above analysis, we finally determined that the network deployment strategy of LongGang Telecom from 2006 to 2009 is “ADSL serves as a primary technology, VDSL and WLAN serves as main supplements, and FTTX serves as a development direction”, and established a network deployment and adjustment plan according to the network situation and the service forecast.
