Research On The Strategy Of The National Reading Promotion Activities In Rural Areas Of Liaoning Province

In2010, Liaoning Province realized the full coverage of 11762 rural libraries in its admin istrative villages. The project of rural libraries has formed, which benefits more than 30 millio n people in the rural area. The Project of Rural Library, one of the most important carrier of civil reading in rural has become an important part of building a new socialist countryside which the broad masses of peasants eagerly and sincerely welcome. Therefore to strengthen the province’s rural construction of Rural Library, further improve the public cultural service system in rural that it is imperative to promote the civil reading promotion. Developing the civil reading promotion activities in rural area of Liaoning Province, based on rural library, can make full use of resources of rural library, efficiency to get maximum play, also can make civil reading promotion deep rural grassroots, to perfect the rural public cultural service system in Liaoning Province, to build a learning community has positive significance.The background of this topic is introduced in this paper along with the significance of it.Then it elaborated the relevant research results of the introduction of rural libraries develop civil reading activities at home and abroad, as well as research ideas, methods and innovations. Followed by an overview of the related questions of rural libraries and civil reading promotion activities, explain it from the connotation of rural libraries, the role of rural libraries, the connotation of civil reading promotion, the form of civil reading promotion and rural libraries playing a role in the civil reading promotion. Then summarized enlighten and progress of civil reading activities in rural libraries by selecting five provinces from our country in developed region and undeveloped region. Followed by analyzed the universal problems of rural libraries developed civil reading activities in Liaoning Province by using questionnaire survey method and summarizes the research conclusion. According to the research conclusion and the revelation to develop civil reading activities in domestic, the reading promotion strategy of Liaoning is proposed.
