| Rural libraries play an important role in China’s public cultural service system.Rural libraries build a bridge between reading service resources and rural residents,open up the "last kilometer" of reading for the whole people,and play an increasingly prominent role in narrowing the cultural gap between urban and rural areas and helping rural revitalization.In recent years,with the development of social economy and the improvement of material level,people’s demand for spiritual and culture is becoming more and more strong.In this background,"national reading" has gradually become a high-frequency word,and reading promotion activities have also been developed rapidly.Hubei provincial government has always attached great importance to the promotion of reading,especially in reading in rural areas.After more than ten years of practice,Hubei province has made remarkable achievements in rural reading promotion activities.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to explore the current status and strategy of reading promotion in rural libraries in Hubei province.This study is mainly divided into the following parts:First in reading promotion,user perception value,on the basis of the theoretical study of regional public library reading promotion in Hubei province,Hubei rural public cultural facilities in Hubei province,the overall construction of rural library in Hubei province and rural library reading promotion practice of analysis,found that the rural library in reading promotion activities has made dazzling achievements,but there are also some problems,such as rural library capital investment,collection resources are limited,imperfect infrastructure,reading promotion of propaganda,rural residents reading consciousness is weak,etc.Secondly,based on the perspective of the reader perception,This part mainly adopts the method of questionnaire survey,The content of the questionnaire is divided into three main parts,The first part is a survey of the basic information of the readers,The second part is a survey of reader reading behavior,The third part investigates from the five dimensions of the service of rural librarians,the collection resources and environment of rural libraries,the service of rural libraries,the theme content and form of reading promotion in rural libraries,and the reading promoters,Then performed an empirical analysis of the questionnaire data using spss,It is found that the services of rural librarians,the collection resources and environment of rural libraries,the services of rural libraries,the theme content and form of reading promotion in rural libraries,and the reading promoters are important factors affecting readers’ perception.Then on the basis of empirical analysis of the rural library reading promotion strategy,including: strengthen the construction of rural library of institutionalization,increase financial input in rural library,promote rural library digital construction,strengthen the introduction of talent,mobilize enterprise power to participate in reading promotion activities,active play to the role of volunteers,etc.Finally,the author make a summary and outlook of this study. |
