| The important part of the Smart Grid construction of State Grid Corporation of China at the present stage is electric distribution network. The communication system of power distribution automation is important base for the Smart Grid construction. The importance of the remote channel design of information collection system and in electric power distribution is stated in this paper. The major issue which the information collection system is faced with in its development is the construction of high-capacity, high stability private network remote channel. In this paper, power distribution automation technologies are analyzed and discussed. By comparing several major communication methods, it points out that EPON technology will have broad application perspective in distribution automation system.This paper analyzes the structure and characteristics of China’s power distribution automation system, also introduced the characteristics of distribution automation in information collection system, in-depth analysis of the distribution automation system characteristics and scope of various communication technologies. In this paper, in-depth analysis and research of the key technology of passive optical networks, the possibility of the construction of distribution automation communication networks using PON technology a technical validation. From the transmission capacity, reliability, economy, security and capacity expansion describes the benefits of PON technology. Then the more popular EPON and GPON technologies were compared, the final choice of EPON as distribution automation communication network construction PON network access technology. On this basis, this paper analyzes the demand for central office OLT EPON system ONU equipment and customer premises equipment, focusing on the specific design of the hardware implementation of PLT devices and each module, introduced in electricity collection system EPOG applications, and gives concrete realization of the program. Finally, the paper design of system functionality, performance testing, the results show that the system can meet the design requirements. |
