Paiji, also known as "beipai" "mowei" "moji" "muji" "muyin" "paizi" "shupai" "tiaoji" "shupaizi", is the record of engraving books published information to the particularity of tags, having certain advertising properties and copyright protections, it is an important part of engraving books since the song dynasty and the yuan dynasty. Paiji appeared from Hanjian, formally appeared in the tang dynasty, then it spread in the Song and yuan periods, and in the Ming and qing dynasties it had been widely used.KeShu paiji and Ke Shu career are closely related to the use of each other. At the early stage of the Ming dynasty from 1368 to 1505, altogether there were 137 years, the career development of KeShu paiji in Ming dynasty was slow, KeShu paiji usage also had some limitations; Rise in zhengde and jiajing, longqing years of it with a brand of engraved books had proliferated, organizing brand occupy during this period, recording 51.7% of the total. With the emergence of bud of capitalism, the development of commodity economy, KeShu paiji had also made great development, the books market competition was increasingly fierce, there appeared lots of fangke usage in advertising or declaration of copyright.From regional point of view, jiangnan is the political, economic and cultural center of Jiangsu, it is also the national KeShu center and book distribution center. The development of KeShu quality is pretty great in the world. KeShu career from Fujian mainly focuses on fangke, which,as early as the Song dynasty, is the leading representative of KeShu career. In the Ming dynasty, there was a little influence of moving some of the versions of KeShu paiji from Fujian on the development of keshu paiji. From the Middle-late Ming dynasty, anhui, with excellent book illustration, formed the unique style of KeShu paiji, becoming the rising star of the industry, and gradually setting up a banner of KeShu center. And the use of these books had some relationships with the usages of Ke Shu paiji.Paiji in the Ming dynasty can be divided into three categories: record the publication, metasomatism publishing background, and stated books copyright class. It became popular with the cover page gradually; Located in the zhongfeng, banxin, shukou, sealing paiji began to appear; It is more common to see many peijis for one book; Lotus cover with peijis are also common in general, the fairy in the form of paiji is being used in an increasing number, such as the token of the increased form features.The development of KeShu paiji in the Ming dynasty benefited from the development of the career of KeShu Paiji is another record on the development of Chinese ancient books, which is the study of publishing history. Because paiji is bound to be connected with published information transmission, it is also an important basis of the appraisal of ancient books edition.For the study of paiji, it is helpful to deepen the understanding of development and change of style in the Chinese ancient books, as well as our understanding of ancient book ads and copyright maintenance methods. Research on KeShu paiji of Ming dynasty is the deepening of KeShu historical study of Ming dynasty; it helps to understand our cognition of books feature of Ming dynasty, which is of vital significance.
