Scannerless 3D imaging ladar has a number of advantages in detection, such as large field of view, high frame rate, long detection distance and high resolution. It will be potentially used in military, medical imaging and mapping. The current research on scannerless 3D ladar includes two directions, one way is the 3D sensors which we can directly get 3D images, and the other is 2D sensors which we can get synthetic 3D images. Most scannerless 3D imaging ladar system now prefer the latter methods, but both of them need modulated laser or modulated receiver which will increase the system’s cost and difficulty.According to the study of 3D imaging methods, we put forward that using LED as light source and high sensitivity electronic shutter of linear CCD as receiver to get target’s 3D image in a certain range. At last, we build an experimental system based on FPGA and USB2.0 which is confirmed that this method is practicable. The main contents of this dissertation have been summarized as follows:1. Propose the design plan of the non-laser 3D imaging radar system and finish the selection of system’s components.2. Finish the hardware circuit design, which conclude the power supply circuit, the driving circuit of CCD and A/D, the control circuit for USB and FPGA.3. Finish the software design, which conclude logic driver for CCD、A/D and USB, FPGA FIFOs, system firmware for USB and the system control software on PC.
