| Present in China, there are many application areas including food safety monitoring, public safety, environment monitoring etc. that need distributed data collecting. And these data collecting applications often require extra functionalities that including data quantity assurance, data encryption. These needs bring a wide market for the development of the data acquisition systems.With the development of mobile computing and wireless communication technology, mobile terminal devices are more and more widely used in various fields. In these areas, the most common scene is collecting data in some given environment, and then sending data to a remote server or back-end database for data processing.Commonly a data acquisition system consists of some key technologies, including embedded systems and embedded operating systems; mobile computing applications, embedded database and the transmission network.In this thesis, we design a data acquisition system to meet the needs of Bureau of Quality Supervision in a given city of China. The main work of this paper demonstrates the overall architecture of the PDA-based data acquisition system and the details of core sub-system. Firstly, we analyzed the key technologies of our system, including the embedded system, embedded operating system, mobile computing, embedded database and mobile terminals. Then we analyzed the functionalities of our system according to the real business requirements. Then we designed the architecture of our system, and introduced the design work of the lab resources management system. Finally, we showed the design result of the mobile terminal, develop tools, mobile database, remote interaction technology, thus finish the whole work of this paper. |
