With the development of information technology and wide use of computer technology, information management of vehicles in enterprises can not only save labor power and financial resources, but also can improve management efficiency, thus achieving scientific management, automation and paperless operation. At present,Chengde Mobile Company still adopts traditional manual management to administer the vehicles in its company.To satisfy the demands of development and improve the efficiency of the use and management of vehicles, combined with the vehicle characteristics of its own, Chengde Mobile Company desires to develop a kind of software which can administer their own vehicles and driver information efficiently.The development process of the system will be strictly accomplished according to the procedures and methods of software engineering. Fourthly, the detailed design of sub-modules of each function module and database realize the effect of the design process of the core module.So far,the system has been finished.Finally,combining the methods and steps of software testing,test each function module and predict the improvements for future development.Having been tested, the system satisfies the users’ demands.In the process of development, the system adopts the B/S structure, combined with J2 EE technology, MySQL database technology, Web technology, unified modeling thought,the approach to object-oriented program and meanwhile, design the information management system of vehicles that satisfy the needs referred to above. The system make it a reality to administer the users,privilege,role,vehicle scheduling,examination and approval management, vehicle repair,the management of oil consumption and other management functions, resulting in achieving the desired target and accomplishing the design task.Having been operated and maintained for more than half a year,the system proves to be safe,stable,convenient and has friendly interface and complete functions,which is completely recognised by Chengde Mobile Company.
