The application of computer and network has penetrated into all fields of people’s life with the development of information technology.The railway system is one of the major modern transportation means in our country.And its business scope is very complex,including transportation,signal,vehicles,etc.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a perfect computer network to manage the various aspects.At present,the level of China’s railway informationization is at the top of the world.For example,the Ministry of Railways has developed the information system of railway vehicle management in 2003,which has realized its standardization,digitization and networking.It is good for transportation and production.Sankeshu is one of locomotive depots in Harbin Railway Bureau.It is responsible for vehicle operating and maintenance. Presently,KMIS is developed and applied by the depot in order to strengthen the management of vehicles.But it is useful only for managing the vehicle basically,such as power supply system,bogie form,lash train information,not for the vehicle electrical machinery,such as generator,storage battery,shaft with train number,serial number.So,to solve the problem,the paper has developed the system which has achieved the network management of vehicle electric machines.There is no need to change the numbers in turn and the vehicle can be controlled at any time by using the only number,its good quality tracking and repairing plan arrangement.The object-oriented design and implementation of the network system is adopted in managing Sankeshu train electric machines.With the use of the database technology and the computer programming technology,which combine the characteristics of the electric machines,JAVA is applied as the foreground application development tool in its system,and My SQL is adopted as its background database.Finally,the development of its system is achieved through the link between them by JAVA controls.The main functional modules of this system include train electrical equipment management module,system management module and scheduling management module.There are many functions achieved in the system, including the user-level setting,the maintenance of the whole system and the access to all the machine information which can be added, modified and deleted by the depot administrator.The administrator in workshop is only responsible for maintaining vehicle electrical machinery and editing its information in his own workshop,while he has no right to edit the administrator permission and its relative information.He has access only to record inquiry in dispatching vehicles.The management system of Sankeshu train electrical equipment developed in this paper has many characteristics,such as easy operation,quick inquiry,user-friendly interface,and integrated management of train electric machines.
