The university is a place which the research and teaching are equally important in, especially in university laboratories, it is often the base of The University Quality Education, is the cradle which of to cultivate the talent having the sense of innovation and the comprehensive practical ability. Vocational college is a type of Universities, which bears the important responsibility for the country to cultivate high-quality high-skilled personnel, and therefore the construction of vocational college laboratory becomes particularly important. Our college is a vocational college which of the vocational professional is mainly on science and engineering, its mechanics courses generally is as on a general education curriculum, and the corresponding laboratory automatically becomes a basic mechanics laboratory. In recent years, with the growing size of the school, the number of student increases, the original laboratory conditions become increasingly unable to meet current educational needs, so mechanics laboratory construction and management becomes increasingly important.In order to solve the current problems encountered, laboratory proposes the solution is building mechanics laboratory management information system. Mechanics Laboratory Management Information System which is use of B/S architecture mode is a integrate management application platform. On the running and management, the whole system is divided into System Foreground and System Background two parts. System Foreground is a web application which is was developed using ASP.NET technology, and its main function is to achieve the interact between on teachers, academic Affairs, laboratories, system administrators, students, etc. users, and achieve laboratory resource access or management; System Background uses SQL Server 2008 database server to store all the database information of systems. During the development process, this paper firstly introduces the background and significance of the construction the system in our college, and demonstrates the feasibility of the developing this system from the technical, operational, economic three aspects; Secondly elaborates the logical database design of the system, the physical design of the system, and the database integrity and security; Thirdly introduces each module function of this system which is to be achieved, and the function of each sub module; Fourthly conducts the development of the integrated program by combining the ASP technology and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 software(which contains the system home page, the experimental course elective and query, experiment booking and laboratory appointment, personal information maintenance etc. function realization), and uses SQL Server 2008 database software to conduct the system database development and connection; Fifthly respectively uses the black box testing and the white box testing to conduct case design, and on the various products which have been developed uses these cases to the unit test and the integrated test, until the test pass; Finally, according to the test results of the front puts forward some abut opinions or suggestions on operation and management, and designs the reasonable management and maintenance procedures in order to facilitate managers maintain and upgrade the system.
