A Research On The Construction Of Broadcasting Program Production Reservation And Management System Based On Network For LRTV

Liaoning Broadcasting and TV Station tried to carry out “separation between producing from broadcasting” system in 2011. So called “separation between producing from broadcasting” refers to a new type of efficient management mode in which program producing and broadcasting are managed and operated separately in broadcasting and TV system. To better cooperate with the execution of the new system and to manage the studio and produced programs more scientifically and conveniently, Broadcasting Technology Department of Liaoning Broadcasting and TV Station Technology Development Management Center introduced digital management theory and established a set of broadcasting program production reservation and management system based on network to replace the existing traditional management mode of manual studio reservation and management with low efficiency. It also established a set of digital program management system to upload all the good programs into the online database to be managed and used together.This topic is in two parts. One is the construction of program production reservation and management system, i.e. the construction of a studio management system and a media resource management system. The other one is to realize the interaction between the program production reservation and management system and the existing system. According to the current situations of program management of Liaoning Station and the investigation on the current situations of various domestic and foreign media, we decided to build a set of program production reservation and management system combination B/S structure and C/S structure. This system adopted a framework system combining B/S and C/S structure with the development platform of ASP.NET Web database. It made use of Microsoft SQL Server to build the database and realized the interaction between the new system and the existing system through EAI technology.The author took part in the whole development process of the system. Responsible work of the author included:1. Work out the overall design idea of the system framework according to the analysis of current situations and requirements of the Station;2. Design the functional modules of the reservation system and work out the functions and work process of each module;3. Realize the safe interaction between production system and broadcasting system by designing and constructing “Gatekeeper” technology, which has been used in the Station;4. Introduce EAI technology to connect the newly designed system, the original OA system, human resource management system and financial management system, integrate data and share information.Presently this system has entered debugging stage. The test run of it will be carried out for a while through combined way of online reservation and manual reservation in the Station. Online reservation will be promoted step be step to transform the way of studio use and program management and use, improve the work efficiency and the management level of the whole Station.
