Design And Implement Of A Practicle Police English Teaching Platform Based On Internet

Answering to the development of technology and society, higher and higher requirement for the overall quality of police in service makes it a hard core for the police colleges to implement daily teaching activities to meet the training demands of police combat abilities. Furthermore, it is an important part to in the current English teaching among the police on duties to solve the problem of how to use the modern information means to serve the English education.Based on the Implementation of the Training on Student’s Combat Abilities of Shandong Police College as well as the relative requirements of English teaching syllabus, this paper made a further research on the fact that the college has multiple campus. It designs a B/S 3-level implementation mode based on the CLAN, which takes into account not only the prospective of the system, but also its integration of existing teaching resources, making a further digging of CLAN’s potentiality. In the consideration of the requirement and purpose of the actual combat skills’ training, it puts forward a scheme about the system’s functions and detailed design based on the pre-existent English Combat Internet Teaching Platform, which indicates our college’s policing education characteristic which is different from other common high educational colleges. In the implementation, the system realizes main functions of the Practical Platform of Online Policing English Combat Skills Training, including System Management, Online Course-Choosing, Teaching Assistance, Courseware on Demand, etc. with the help of ASP.NET and ADO.NET technologies.After the system testing and actual operating, it proves that the system meets Shandong Police College’s actual combat skills training requirement and purposes, indicating the college’s different policing education characteristic from other common high educational colleges. Meanwhile, in the design scheme, the system presents such concepts as system management, and security mechanism, making up the defects on security designing which is often overlooked in a regular Internet teaching system.
