Along with the extent of our country economy development continuously improving, people’s life becomes richer. Therefore, the quality of life is increasing high requirement, thus creating an excellent development opportunity for food and beverage industry. For now, although China’s catering industry has achieved a high turnover, the management work is still almost done manually, failed to keep pace with the industry growth rate. Development of information technology has laid a good foundation for the catering industry to improve the management model. Not only the use of management information system can significantly enhance the efficiency of the management of catering enterprises, but also reduce management costs. The following information management system that author analyzed, is a very typical catering enterprise management information system.PowerBuilder is chosen as the development platform, in combination with 2012 SQL programming language, JSP database, JSP programming language and using B/S structure to construct catering information analysis and management system. System based on object-oriented idea from top to bottom to create, not only can realize the interaction of different user data, but also comprehensively process and analysis the enterprise catering management information data, and can greatly improve the management efficiency of catering business. The paper builds the system consists of seven modules, namely, front desk management module, financial management module, background data management module, accounts payable management module, data initialization module, system support module, system help module. In view of the link to order, the interface of the system is designed graphics and data two modes, allowing system users can know clearly about the order details of each compartment or hall dining tables. With cashier management link, the system is designed to order, to spell, to serve, to pay, to clear the table and other information recording function. In view of the inventory management link, the system designs detailed ins and outs of storage data management form. With business analysis link, the system can integrate guests order and consumption of a box or hall dining tables within a given period of time, so that the relevant management personnel to predict subsequent operating performance. Joint action at several modules to achieve the main business of catering enterprises managed efficiently, so as to pave the way for the subsequent development of the enterprise.The author hopes that after applying the system designed in this paper, catering enterprises can enhance management efficiency, reduce management costs, optimize management processes, to establish the management system matched with the level of development.
