With the continuous development of precision guided technology, terminal guidance technology is more and more applied to the weapon system. Usually, the terminal guidance can process large amount of information, with high real-time performance. Moreover, with limited space,general weapon system structure can’t depend upon the improvement of the hardware platform to solve the problem of real-time processing. therefore, this paper presents a research of image matching DSP parallel software design and optimization method. Improving the terminal guidance information processing of real-time through matching algorithm design optimization, hardware platform optimization and DSP software to realize optimization, and so on.This thesis mainly work is as follows:1, analysising the precision sectors DSP parallel processing technology development present situation.2, based on engineering application requirement, carry out the design of SAR scene matching algorithm, and optimize design according to the characteristics of the algorithm.3, according to the current device level and hardware limitation of size, design a kind of suitable for SAR scene, matching algorithm of high-speed information processor, and carry out the debugging.4, considering high speed information processor hardware structure characteristics and SAR scene matching algorithm process, carry out many DSP parallel software design and optimization method, and finally realize the effect was analyzed.Through the study of face image matching DSP parallel software design and optimization method of common used image, process algorithm optimization design method,multi- DSP hardware platform design, DSP programming characteristics and optimization method, etc, and had a deep understanding. to carry out the follow-up work accumulated technology foundation. Mine time, this paper is very important to the development of researching on the imaging terminal-guidance technology.
