As the sensor nodes energy consumed and environment changed, considering the limit and susceptibility of communication of the sensor nodes, this would caused the phenomenon that the link between nodes would intermittent connectivity. In addition the node depend on the battery powered-up, they couldn’t be powered-up timely after they were deployed in the monitoring region. Hence, the design of multicast routing protocol which based on the energy and link availability becoming more and more important in theIn this paper, we analysed static and dynamic Wireless sensor networks for the problem of energy efficient and intermittently connected. In the static environment, we make use of ferry node to proposed a multiple ferries multicast algorithm(MFMA). The method turned the network to regionalization and used the communications of region ferry and node between regions to achieve network connectivity,On the basis of this, the energy level of region and the construction method of energy Multicast Tree were proposed. Finally, the simulation shows MFMA can provide the better performance than the existing node relay method in terns of the energy consumption and the delivery rate.In the case of the mobile wireless sensor networks, the paper use the idea of nodes social property and periodic sleeping mechanism for the situation. This method divided the networks into several regions as the influence of the small world. In the respect of the data transfer, this method make the use of the nodes’ activity to complete the transmission between regains, In the respect of the conserving energy, active nodes according the residual energy and the active degree periodic listen and sleep, the other nodes could sleep on the regular basis. The simulation shows the method can conserve the energy consumption and prolong the life cycle of the networks.
