Temperature is an important physical quantity in industrial and agricultural production, science experiments and everyday life which needs to be generally measured and controlled and is related to our life. To establish a temperature measuring and controlling experiment which is based on the typical engineering examples of temperature measurement and control, is to lead students observing, thinking, exploring from an engineering perspective and emphasizing the standardized of design methods.The experimental platform includes temperature measurement, signal conditioning and temperature control, and so on. This thesis presents the electronic temperature control device aimed at the Peltier which was designed by the ultra-low power MSP430 microcontroller as the core of the system. Through the bridge collecting the temperature signal gathered by the PT100 resistance sensor, magnifying the collected temperature signal by the signal processing circuit, the collected temperature signal will be transferred to the single chip after converted by AD conversion; then MCU comparing the current temperature and the set temperature value, through the PID algorithm controls the Peltier temperature control device for heating or cooling operation, to achieve control over the current temperature. The thesis achieved all functional modules by using the software, adopting the idea of modules for: software design, also giving the total flow chart software and part of the subroutine. At the end, the thesis briefly analyses some potential factors and interference which could affect the accuracy of measurement, and provides the corresponding improvement methods.The test results show that the temperature measurement, regulation and control platform as an integrated platform, which can increase the comprehensive experimental ability of students and strengthening the analytical capacity of the system, as well as design and management capabilities.
