In the second quarter of 2015, China Center for Information Industry Development published the White paper on the development of mobile smart terminal industry (2015 edition), aiming to conclude the situation of the development in mobile device industry comprehensively. The paper shows the industry of mobile smart terminal developed rapidly last year across the globe. The demands from users on services provided by the devices are more and more pluralistic now. Geographic location sharing system can be realized more sufficient and low-cost thanks to the popularity of GPS among mobile devices and the convenience of connecting internet via Wi-Fi and 4G network.Firstly, we proposed a method of sharing geographic location information, which is based on XMPP protocol. The devices would adjust the frequency of sending location message according to the condition of distance between devices, and the device moving speed both. Consequently, this method would avoid sending messages frequently while the devices moving slowly or even being still. On the other hand, it would shorten intervals between messages while the devices moving at a high speed, aiming to guarantee that the information would be shared in real-time. As a result, this method managed to guarantee the performance of real-time, with avoiding wasting network resource at the same time. What’s more, to prevent the leakage of privacy, the method would encryption the message before sending it.Secondly, we composed a voice-prompt based method which perceives the users’ intention via sensors embedded in the devices, to provide the convenience of acquiring the information accessibly. Finally, we implemented the system via XMPP protocol on Android platform and analyzed its performance.
