The Design And Implementation Of Mobile Office System For Guard Bureau

Along with the development of Pad and smart phones, Mobile technology impact on people’s life. It can get rid of time and space. In this background, the traditional pattern of office work can’t meet the demand of the Guard Bureau nowadays. In the traditional pattern, office efficiency is slow, apply and approval process is sluggish and the office process needs to consume too much human resources. Notification can’t be timely received by the individuals. For the sake of solving the problem that Guards can send and receive message and notification anytime and anywhere and can timely handle the application and approval, the Guard Bureau developed a mobile office system which could replace the traditional pattern of office work. The main feature of this system is that (1)This Mobile office automation is able to allow users to acquire needed information anytime and anywhere by using mobile computing technology. (2)It provides point to point communication service which sports the transmation of massages, pictures and images. (3)It provides attendance management base on planar bar code technology. (4)It uses IPsec VPN to guarantee system security. In this thesis, mobile office automation, which is accessible to PC end and mobile terminal, is designed for Guard Bureau. This system will promise the staff to work through mobile phone or computer anywhere and anytime. The main functions of this system include information management of police staff, push technology, address book management, coordination work, attendance management, vehicle management, consumption management etc. Through all these functions, officers can deal with issues anytime and anywhere by using PC or mobile.From the aspect of technology, due to the particularity of the Guard Bureau, the system reference to some secret-involved document, we should pay more attention to the security issue of the system. So we have adopted a series of strategies to guarantee the safety of the system. Including IPSec VPN which support secure connection and secure transfer. And we also implement point-to-point communication through XMPP protocol.Firstly, the development background and status home and abroad, development purposes and significance are analyzed in this assays. Secondly, the key technology of realizing mobile office automation is introduced. At last, the design of new model of mobile office system is analyzed and then a design plan of mobile office automation is worked out.
