| With the increasing frequency of flood disasters happening in Xijiang River, the government of Zhaoqing city pays more attention to the flood disasters of Xijiang river basin. The traditional forecast method has been unable to meet the increasingly complex weather situation at the present, nor to deal with changeable flood disasters and the requirement of Xijiang river flood forecast by the people’s government of Zhaoqing city.It is imperative to use information technology to make the flood forecast procedural and elaborate. Furthermore, processing a large amount of meteorological data with information system is inevitable.This thesis is based on the study of the platform about monitoring and warning of Xijiang river flood in Zhaoqing city. Objective is to design a platform which can achieve the function of daily rainfall collection of Xijiang River Basin, image displaying in different area, the number of total rainfall and heavy rainstorm station counting, as well as printing and other functions. Combined with the weather forecast in upper basin of Xijiang river and the water level of Wuzhou and Gaoyao hydrometric station to automatically generate a flood warning. This platform does not only effectively improve the ability of Zhaoqing Xijiang River flood forecast in long term and short term, but also provide scientific evidence for the decision of flood prevention and the control to the government departments.The platform developed by C/S Structures, along with PostgreSQL and SQL Server2008 database, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 development platform, C++ and C#programming language. This software achieved that the formation of all the data, query results and warning information can be displayed on the map Mapobject, moreover,forecasted Xijiang River flood quickly and efficiently.The main research contents of this study:1. Sum up the criterion of Zhaoqing Xijiang River flood warning based on the historical data analysis.2. Introduce several popular system architecture model, programming language and database technology, then analyze their advantages.3. Analyze the demand of Zhaoqing Xijiang flood forecast, to determine the overall structure of the system and the main function of each module of the system4. Design overall system and partitioned the system modules and the main functions of the platform about monitoring and warning of Xijiang river flood in Zhaoqing city.5. Introduce the detailed design of the core part of this platform Xin’anjiang distributed mode, calibrate the parameters of this platform and test the forecast results.6. Make a series of test of the platform about monitoring and warning of Xijiang river flood in Zhaoqing city, such like login test, display test, forecasting process test,system management test and etc. then apply it in the business of forewarning.After a series of test, the platform about monitoring and warning of Xijiang river flood in Zhaoqing city has already been working for eight months, and the platform runs great as expected. Most of early warning personnel replied that the function of the rainfall statistics and flood forecast can greatly improve the efficiency of data analysis and give a powerful basis for flood warning, also can meet the demand of local business. |
