Abstract/Summary:
PLC is a new generation of industrial control equipment based on Automatic control technology, Micro computing technology and Communication technology. With the development of the microprocessor, PLC gets rapid development and PLC has been widely used in various fields in society. Due to increasing demand for PLC technology talents, PLC teaching in colleges is becoming more and more attention. Experimental teaching is an important link of PLC teaching. So universities invest a lot of money to buy PLC experimental teaching equipment. But some schools cannot buy laboratory equipment because of financial problems. These schools would not make a better teaching of the PLC knowledge and cultivating the talents.In addition, the traditional experimental equipment also has some defects, which influence the teaching quality of PLC.This topic is mainly aiming at the existence of traditional PLC experiment teaching visual difference, taking up the space large, and some schools lacking of laboratory equipment because of money. The experiment teaching system is made up of upper machine part and Lower machine part. Upper machine is made up PC, which is equipped with MCGS configuration software. It’s work is mainly to complete the simulation interface. Lower machine’s job is to finish the writing of the PLC program by Siemens series programmable controller. When the upper part and lower design is completed, We can see the running situation of the controlled object in the upper machine. The combination of Siemens series programmable controller and The MCGS configuration software is applied to PLC experiment teaching system construction of simulation system. This application can be vivid display of the changing process of controlled object, overcome the poor visual defects of the traditional teaching system and solve the problem of lacking of money to buy teaching equipment. In addition the simulation design method is also very good on PLC application prospect of the development of the project work.
