The Research And Realization Of The Bus Operation Information Inquiry System Based On Android

Currently the public transportation has become a main tools to citizen,and the understanding and knowledge of public information become a common demand. Today, Android smart phones penetration rate is high.This paper uses Android intelligence mobile phones as a platform to design a Bus Operation Information Inquiry System to provide users with faster, higher quality services.Meanwhile it can meet people’s urgent requirement and improve the convenience of getting the bus information.After the function and performance requirment analysis of the Bus Operation Information Inquiry System.Then I analysised and designed the whole form, function module,database and bus’s arrival time prediction and so on.The system consists of system client and management client,the mobile client uses C/S mode and uses SQLite to store data.The mobile client realized the bus lines,sites,bus transfer inquiries and bus arrival time query functions.Web management use of B/S mode and SQLServer as the background database,user management make the adminstration and maintenance effective to Website with browser.Web management side to achieve the system administrator to update and maintain basic information on public transport,real-time information and other major function.The bus arrival time prediction is the focus of this article,the basic theory of the bus arrival time is the key to this article.Also which is different from other public information inquiry system.Finally through functional and performance test for the system,the results show system friendly interface,operating easily and the functions are perfect.The System make great contributions to improve bus service level include encourage citizen take part in public transportation.The System is useful and have a huge potential user groups, so it will has a bright prospect.
