| Since the year of 2013, wearable devices has attracted the attention of the consumer market with its portability and the characteristics of the informational.However,Wearable device is still in the bud, the research about it is not mature enough. Therefore, this paper takes the smart watch as an example, provides theoretical basis for wearable device design from two aspects:appearance design and UI design.In terms of appearance design, this paper analyses its design size on the basis of ergonomics, and creates the relationship between the characteristics of the appearance of smart watches and perceptual image of the users on the basis of the kansei engineering. The paper analyses the design dimensions and other basic aspects through the market survey and physical measurement firstly,filtrates perceptual words associated with smart watches through questionnaire,analyses the key features of the appearance through morphological analysis,uses the multivariate linear regression analysis to conclude the relationship between the factors of appearance of smart watch and the perceptual image of the users。In terms of the UI design, this paper analyses the method of UI design of smart watch based on the software interface design principles,and puts forward the method of UI design combined with the characteristics of the smart watch.Finally, this paper proves the proposed research results through design practice.The results of the research can improve both appearance design and UI design of wearable device,and provide the corresponding practical methods for further design and research. |
