Ad hoc networks are prone to different kinds of attacks because of their open network architecture, stringent resource constraints and highly dynamic network topology. Wormhole attack is a severe attack among many attacks in Ad hoc networks. To avoid problems brought by wormhole, a wormhole detection scheme is needed, which can mitigate the impact of wormhole in routing discovery process and guarantee the availability of networks. This paper proposed a lightweight wormhole detection scheme which cost less energy, time and higher success rate. The third section of this paper proposes Credibility Recommended Path Flow Solution(CRPFS) for Ad hoc network. This solution builds a new reputation computing model, combining the advantages of local reputation and global reputation. And it also guarantees the credibility of reputation. Once CRPFS detected the wormhole nodes, CRPFS switches to response mechanism CRPFS-R. It takes the start point as the net’s center, selects the direct communication nodes in the communication area within a given range of error, forms the clusters with arbitrary shapes. If the reputation tolerance value of a node is out of error range, the node is referred as suspected node and refused to participate in routing. Because of the high energy consumption of CRPFS-R response mechanism, the forth section puts forward Distance-Bounding Validate protocol(DBV) based on the DB protocol. DBV adds neighboring nodes verification within 2 hops and improves the safety performance, reduces the dishonest advertising false routing node further, expands the scope of link selection. DBV can reduce the amount of calculation and find the next hop link node quickly and accurately. The DBV is used to replace CRPFS-R, and the results of simulation show that DBV protocol can expand communication range and alleviate the problem of large energy consumption in the process of CRPFS response at the same time.
