In recent years, the government of various countries has introduced policies to promote the development of the Internet of things(IOT), more and more enterprises, research institutes are also given enough attention and high enthusiasm. The access technology of Internet of things, as the key technology to connect sensor networks to the public network, plays a very important role in the Internet of things. However, due to the lack of uniform standards and norms, the early developers often design the IOT access system just for specific application requirements, once the environment changes, the system will have to re development, caused a great waste of resources. How to realize the access of different sensing device is one of the key problems of the application of IOT technology. And because of the rapid development of multimedia technology, to realize the access of video data can make the scope of its application more widely, has great significance to promote the development of various industries.This article from the perspective of practical application, combining with the popular Arduino open source hardware technology nowadays, research the IOT access technology from the aspects of embedded systems, data acquisition, data storage and data transmission technology, achieve an iot access system prototype which can transmission video data. Main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:Firstly, analysis of the functional requirement of IOT access system, completed the system module division, discussed which involves access technology. And through the Arduino technology research, given the system implementation, built the system development environment.Secondly, the data acquisition and storage technology were focused on research, discussed the video data collection methods based on V4L2 technology; and through analyzing the Arduino standard libraries, discussed the methods of sensor data acquisition and storage based on arduino technology.Thirdly, by studying the transport protocol, discussed the sensor data transmission method based on Hypertext Transfer Protocol and Yeelink IOT cloud platform; by analyzing streaming protocols RTP / RTCP, research the RTP packets strategy, discusses the video data transmission method based on Arduino, and through the NAL unit fragmentation processing to enhance the stability of the video data transmission.Finally, in order to validate the IOT access technology based on arduino, used JRTPLIB receive RTP data, FFmpeg for video decoding, SDL display frames to complete the design and implementation of video receiving terminal software, and then built a test environment to test each function of the prototype. The test results show that the IOT access prototype can meets the design requirements, and it has high reusability, flexibility and scalability, available to other developers and enthusiasts for secondary development, it can reduce development costs and development cycle, has practical application value.
