Research And Implementation Of Smart Home Monitoring And Controlling System Based On Android Platform

With the social progress, the development of science technology and the gradually improvement of living standard, people have a higher demand for home environment. Smart home, as a convenient and quick management for home equipment, has come into the people's life.The intelligent degree of the home environment and facilities has become an important part of the developing information society, but also it is an important index to measure the economic development level of a country and national happiness index. Therefore, it is very necessary to carry out the in-depth research and application technology of smart home.The smart home audio and video, security monitoring, intelligent communication and control as the main research contents, the different hardware and software design methods have been respectively adopted to achieve the video matrix switch control based on cortexa9 Android platform. The input and output sources are equipment with HDMI(high definition multimedia interface), and the function of simulated mouse is introduced to provide more diverse and friendly control methods which is an optimization of the traditional front panel and the infrared control. The Linux router has been implemented in security monitoring, it is more cheap and convenient compared to the previous embedded devices or webcam form. The user can easily realize real time monitor based on thebrowser/server architecture by accessing the camera which meets the USB Video Class specification. The Intelligent control is mainly composed of STM32 equipped with WIFI module, Bluetooth module or Ethernet module with Arduino to achieve local control and also to remote control by android cloud client or We Chat public account. A small customizable smart home system has been constituted with the combination of the audio and video, the security monitoring and the intelligent communication and control.The experimental results show that the system run's effect is stable.Compared to previous Win CE or QT, the development cycle shorter,lower cost, and flexible control, multiple alternatives, simple operation, to meet the public needs, and with a good application prospect, which has certain significance to the development of the IOT(Internet of things).
