Water is the source of life. How to manage water resources in modern society is directly related to the life of the people. Urban water supply pipe network is the main carrier of water resources, and supervision of the pipe network and related equipment is the most important task of the government. The existing me thods of manual meter reading and inspection are time-consuming and laborious, and there are a lot of disadvantages. Aiming at this problem, China’s Ministry of water conservancy puts forward the concept of "The wisdom water", that is by using various types of sensors, monitoring equipment and wireless network to get the network running status in real-time, which achieves a more sophisticated and dynamic management of water system.In the above background, software of the server and mobile terminal for monitoring system in water network is developed, which is based on the existing remote wireless automatic meter reading device. Firstly, according to the requirements of the software level of demand analysis, C/S model architecture is used as an overall framework, and the overall structure of the APP design program is given. In the design of the database and the server, the relevant selection and program design and so on are described in detail.The design process and the realization details of the remote term inal APP are described in detail, from the two parts of the basic function module and the user function module, the development scheme. The basis function module includes the network communication function module and the data structure module, which can supply the foundation for the realization of the user function module. User function module can be subdivided into 7 sub modules. Among them, the user management function module is to realize the user information management; Data query function module is to achieve the server side database data acquisition; The remote control function module realizes the remote control of the monitoring node equipment; The device information function module stores the physical information of all the equipment; The scene mode function module realizes the management of one key type and batch type of equipment; Notification function module adopts long connection mode to receive message from server side; The path planning of the equipment point is realized by the map navigation fu nction module.With the help of MTC, the performance test of APP is completed, and the test report shows that the performance of the APP is good. In addition, the APP has passed the seven different types of Android mobile phone functional testing, and the test results are good. The remote monitoring system is built under the simulation environment, and the function of remote meter reading software is tested. The test results show that the software function can run normally, and the monitoring data can be timely and effective feedback.
