The publishing of ISO26000standards,not only marks the birth of the first internationalsocial responsibility standard. also reflects the corporate social responsibility has aroused theconcern of the people around the world. However, China’s food safety problems emerge inendlessly, which makes research in food industry corporate social responsibility has a strongpractical significance. Through analysis of scholars both at home and abroad towards concept ofcorporate social responsibility, food industry corporate social responsibility, corporate socialresponsibility evaluation system, found China lacking solid theory research on how to constructsocial responsibility evaluation system of the food industry, it is also the theory significance ofthe paper.This article mainly study the analysis of social responsibility fulfill status of China foodindustry as well as the causes of the status from3aspects:the stakeholder theory, the integrationof social contract theory and sustainable development theory. At the same time come up withcorresponding specification on corporate social responsibility of the food industry according tothe standard of ISO26000. Then, get conclusion of constructing food industry socialresponsibility from six aspects such as: Organization management, labor practices, consumer,fair operation, government, public community, environment and so on. Finally, put into empiricalanalysis by utilizing utilizing the last five years of data from2007to2011of Inner Mongolia yiliindustrial co., LTD, drawing scores of the enterprises to fulfill social responsibility within thelast five years. Which proved the practicability of index system built in this paper,that is,theindex system can give comprehensive evaluation of food industry corporate social responsibility.this paper mainly focus on research of social responsibility evaluation system of foodindustry; at the same time,according to the problems found in the empirical analysis, summed up3conclusions that corporate social responsibility is the guarantee for the sustainabledevelopment of enterprises;China’s food industry enterprises to perform social responsibilityneed to be improved, enterprise stakeholders play a limited role in supervision and regulation,finally puts forward relevant policy Suggestions.
