Since the reform and opening up, China has established the socialist market economy.There are significant changes around the external environment of oil industry. As a result inaddition to completing the tasks of model research, production and testing, oil industry. It isimperative for these companies to develop the strategy of cost management and strengthen thelabor cost control and administration.This paper conducts a research and provides a summary on the relevant theories oflabour cost control and management. It also collects and analyzes recent years labour costdata of Hebei Oilfield. By applying comprehensive methods of labour cost control andmanagement, it analyzes the total amount of labour costs, labour cost structure,efficiency andelastic indicators for the enterprise and its subsidiaries and determines the key problem areasthat need to be improved. Based on the findings, it explores the better model of labour costcontrol and management for Hebei Oilfield. the enhancement of the operation mechanism oflabour cost management and long term labour cost management strategies.
