In an increasingly competitive market environment, product quality is an essentialfactor that can ensure enterprise to have core competencies in the market. Quality ofproducts is determined by quality of processes cumulatively, so quality of processes isthe key to guarantee the final product quality. It has been a hot research field how tobuild a quality management system oriented to machine shop, to control and improveproduct quality during production process, reduce the gap between the actual productionresults and expectations. Based on the perfection of existing quality managementsystem oriented to machine shop, through conducting analysis of the basic data whichinfluence process quality, key factors influencing process quality are identified and thefactor weights are determined, then neural network technology is employed to conductquality prediction and further process quality control. The main contents include thefollowing aspects:First, on the basis of depth analysis of production characteristics in workshopmachinery manufacturing enterprises and the existing problems in machine shop qualitycontrol, the architecture and operation mode of quality control oriented to machineryworkshop have been proposed and established.Second, using correlation analysis to determine the key factors affecting the processquality; determining the weight of key factors based on data in production process; WithBP neural network technology, based on product historical production data to determinequality prediction model oriented to machine shop, then on the basis of product qualityforecast information, adjusting the predetermined impact factor or changing theproduction plans in order to ensure the production rationality and according to theproduction results to conduct post-action control and evaluation of quality.Thirdly, on the basis of the mode of workshop quality control as well as the qualityprediction model, product quality management system oriented to machine shop hasbeen designed to verify the validation of the quality control model studied in the paper.Finally, a machinery manufacturing enterprises in Chongqing has been taken toimplement the system to verify the correctness of the above research results.
