Logistics distribution network planning is a basic problem in the field of supplychain management, and it’smain task is to determine the structure and circulation modeof the entire circulation channel of the products from manufacturers to customers. whenthe resources can’t satisfies all needs of the customers, it is worth studying how to planthe logistics distribution network to make the greatest profits with limited resources.The location of the distribution center is the most basic problem of logisticsdistribution network planning. Because it is large investment, long cycle time, slowlyrecovery, and it must operate in a long time once chosen. Besides, reasonable locationcould reduce cost. Based on the reasons above, the location of the distribution centerbecomes more and more important in the academic and applied fieldsrecently.Under the situation that the enterprise logistics resources cannot meet the needs ofall customers, this paper focus on the global logistics network planning, especially thelocation planning. The research content includes:Firstly, states the three basic decision problems of logistics distribution networkplanning, those are facility location decision, transportation decision and joint inventorydecision, and then we will do some analyses.Secondly, for location planning, adopt customer value and customer timesatisfaction function on the research of location, in order to make the greatest profitswith limited resources.Thirdly, consider the characteristic of enterprise logistics and apply the coveringmethod-the classical method of location theory, this paper established a multi-objectivelocation model of enterprise logistics distribution center considering multi-objectives,including maximize customer value and customer time satisfaction, minimize the totalcost of the network.At last, plan and design the logistics distribution network for enterprise A, usingthe theory and model proposed in this paper.
