The e-commence business of home furnishing retailing industry has just started,hereby the supply chain network not only for the store business environment,but also apply for the e-commence business network.The ecommence development in China is fast and mature,even the most advanced in the world.More and more international enterprises choose China as a pilot market of their e-commerce business.Considering the good sales performance and the mature insight of e-commence,I company also chooses China as the pilot market of e-commerce business in Asia Pacific region.The customer distribution center is the new built-up logistics unit concept,which is one of the most important part of supply chain.The network design of the customer distribution center will be the critical part of supply chain.This thesis researches the method customer distribution center network design and which will be applicable to the other countries of the Asia Pacific.To summarize the practice of home furnishing industry distribution network layout in common by the research of I company China distribution network,the application of the demand analysis and the demand forecast,location modelling and the process of cost analysis.The customer distribution center network design research is based on the consumer demand study and prediction.Then choose the model via considering the characteristics of the home furnishing retail industry.Once we get the alternative solutions,we setup the total logistics cost model to choose the best solution with the lowest cost.This thesis combines the characteristic of e-commerce consumer environment in China and development strategy of I company to study the customer distribution center network.
