Recently, due to the undersea resources failure, the cephalopod is becoming one ofthe mainly marine fishery resources because of its short life cycle, rich varieties andabundant resources. As the cuttlefish the octopus resources gradually reduce at the sametime, the icy, fresh and processed squid products are little by little accepted by people,and hence the squid is taking the most often exploited species in the marine fisheryindustry. Traditionally, squid products industrial chain includes links of raw materialprocurement, processing, wholesale, retail, catering and terminal consumption. In thelast years, the original market is given priority to forms like ice and fresh and whole fish,which results of the neglect of the processed products. However, with the improvementof living standards and the adjustment of dietary structure, the customers are no longersatisfied with the demand for regulate products like fresh squid products, some productswith deep processed form are also more and more being on the consumers’ table.Therefore, the strong demand for processed products inevitably will make a greatdifference to the whole industry chain structure and profit distribution of industrialvalue chain. Therefore, this article put focus on the economics of squid processingindustrial chain, in order to seek new development ideas for the from the perspective ofhow to optimized the value chain cost structure.To start with, this article firstly embarks from the industrial chain theory to make adeep analysis of the status and the existing problems of the upstream and downstreamsquid processed products industrial chain macroscopically. Especially, the processing situation and problems eager to be settled are conclude after words. Then, from theangle of customer value, it establishes a performance evaluation system of squidprocessing enterprise value chain. During the index system design, it selects threecategories having the most influencing power, which are the products, preference andservices. Then, considering the concrete enterprise’s internal management and practicaloperating situation, it creates ten critical indexes thus forming a comprehensiveevaluation system of squid products enterprise value chain. While there are many waysto solve the economic optimization problems, but the theory of linear programming isthe most practical optimization way until now of complete theory, mature method andwhich are most widely used. It has successfully solved many issues like production plan,physical distribution, the optimal allocation of resources and regional economicplanning. So in the optimization research part, this paper presents a quantitative researchapproach which is fuzzy linear programming model, and theoretically describes how itworks to optimize the cost structure of the enterprise value chain based on theperformance evaluation system created in the above. By comparing the present coststructure and theatrically optimized one, the part which needed to be adjusted willclearly show out. As a result, this paper makes a further research of the squid productsenterprise value chain optimization problem on the base of qualitatively study from theperspective of industrial chain.Finally this study selects one of the important Chinese squid processing areasZhoushan of Zhejiang province, and compares the priority of all the indexes whenmeasuring the customer value contribution, with the method of fuzzy comprehensivedecision and AHP. It also evaluates the customer value transferring efficacy of thecurrent domestic squid processing enterprises value chain. Later, the theory of fuzzyprogramming model is applied to obtain the optimized investment structure of the valuechain which will yield the maximize customer value. The obtained conclusion illustratesthat the performance evaluation index system of enterprise value chain and thequantitative research method of fuzzy linear programming model for value chainoptimization has distinctive reference value.Squid products processing industry is the main body and core part of the wholeindustry chain. Through the study in this paper, it not only provides suggestions for thedevelopment of the marine squid fishery from the angle of improving the economicefficiency of squid processing enterprises, but also makes some enlightening solutions from the angle of the inner enterprise value chain optimization research. Aspects liketechnology research and development, product upgrading and marketing promotion areall of good use for the healthy and speedy development of the squid processing industry.
