| With continual economic development and gradual establishment ofmultilayered capital market, the industry of securities as the main body of Chinesecapital market has been confronted with unprecedented opportunities and challenges.Over20years’ development, the number and scale of security companies have seen adramatic increase. However, the development of structure of the security companiesis not in the least balanced. Up to now, the bulk of security companies mainly profitfrom providing traditional channel and charging commissions. Obviously, the meansof profit is single without much creativity. The war of commission inside securitycompanies has become increasingly fierce, due to similar mode of profit, rapidproliferation of companies, as well as gradually improved ability of negotiating pricesfrom customers, which severely influence companies’ healthy and organizeddevelopment.In May2012, the president of the China Securities Regulatory Commission(CSRC) Guo Shuqing clearly proposed the direction of creative innovation for thesecurity companies, and encouraged security companies to develop an diversifiedmode of profit on the occasion of innovation conference. Therefore, this paperanalyzes the status quo of SYWG’s development, summarizes the main problemsexistent in the process of business development, and puts forward specificinnovational measures for brokerage, asset management, investment.
