With the development of the air transport industry, the popularity of e-commerce market,airline tickets commodity market is expanding, and gradually become a hot emerging markets. Withthe Internet available to consumers a novel and efficient way to purchase tickets,compared with thetraditional markets,the Internet makes people search to more comprehensive product information,and largely reduce search costs of consumers. However, international research shows thate-commerce market is not with high market efficiency as imagine,which still exists a certain pricedispersion phenomena. The paper research the airline ticket online sales market prices dispersionproblem. In explaining price dispersion theory and hedonic price model based on the theory,thearticle by studying examples of the "Nanjing-Hong Kong" route air ticket market price situation,through the measure of price dispersion index, from the price of the poor, standard deviation,coefficient of variation aspects airline tickets online market analysis to determine the existence ofprice dispersion.This paper mainly differentiated from the perspective of product characteristics to study thecurrent stage of e-commerce market in the airline ticket price dispersion causes based on the study ofdiscrete situation by airline tickets price. With the help of Hedonic Price Hedonic model theories,with examples of the "Nanjing-Hong Kong" established routes the actual market situation, thecharacteristics of products on airline tickets and ticket prices at the relationship between the in-depthstudy. Article airline tickets from starting their own characteristic attributes to filter out threecategories of variables affecting the characteristics of ticket prices,namely: physical attributes,stayattributes, services attributes. Constructed characteristic variables Hedonic impact on pricedispersion theoretical model, using the model of linear form, a measurement of the "Nanjing-Hong Kong" route in eight feature variable degree of influence on the price and characteristics of thevariable characteristics of prices and price dispersion through the regression analysis.We get a goodexplanation from the perspective of product differentiation, a ticket discrete reason commodity prices.Specifically, the characteristic properties of air ticket goods, each variable’s impact on ticket pricessort by: seat class, the longest and shortest stay time, Dragonair airline, refund policy, change policy,Hong Kong Airlines,departure time8:00previously,transfer connection.The article reasonably provides a theoretical foundation of tickets pricing, and a scientific basisof consumer choice in the purchase of airline tickets.
