Europe andthe United States and other developed countries completed preliminary urbanizationprocess used for over100years, however, for the post-war Japan, it only took30years or so, the urbanization rate was increased from37%in1951to76%in1977,by2011, Japan’s urbanization rate reached91.3%, the figure has gone far beyond theaverage of55.6%in east Asia.For Japan’s urbanization pattern research, on the one hand is due to its effectivepattern development, on the other hand is because China’s current pushing forwardthe construction of the new type of urbanization needs to draw lessons from othercountries’ experience.
